Kenyan comedian DeSagu has expressed heartfelt gratitude to friends, well-wishers, and supporters who stood by him during his toughest moments. Why Was DeSagu Gifted KSh 1 Million?
On March 11, a delegation led by MP Njoroge Kururia, popular musician Samidoh, and Dama wa Spares visited DeSagu’s rural home to present a generous KSh 1 million donations. The contribution was meant to aid in his recovery and help him rebuild his life.

“I was sick, and it was serious. I want young people to understand that depression is real. One key lesson I have learned is that when life gets tough and stress becomes overwhelming, talk to someone. I used to bottle up my problems,” DeSagu said.
He also took a moment to appreciate those who stood by him and ensured he received medical care at his lowest point.
“I sincerely thank everyone who came to my aid and took me to the hospital. I believe I am now on the road to recovery,” he added.

MP Njoroge Kururia commended DeSagu for his resilience and expressed optimism about his full recovery. Meanwhile, MoFarm, a close friend and key figure in DeSagu’s rehabilitation, voiced his frustration over individuals who downplayed the comedian’s struggles.
