Jamaican dancehall star Charly Black is seeking help to recover jewellery worth approximately KSh 1.1 million after it went missing following his performance in Nairobi.

The singer disclosed the loss during an interview on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He said he was wearing the jewellery during his Saturday, October 10, performance at Masshouse Nairobi.

Charly Black explained that his team searched for the missing items after he left the stage, but they had not recovered them.

Pendant and Chain Go Missing

The missing jewellery comprises a custom pendant valued at US$6,000 and a chain estimated to be worth about US$2,500.

According to the singer, the pendant alone accounts for most of the estimated value. The chain’s price could bring the combined value of the two items to approximately US$8,500, equivalent to about KSh 1.1 million.

Charly Black said footage from his performance showed him wearing the jewellery on stage. However, the items disappeared shortly after his set ended. His team reportedly searched the venue but failed to locate them.

Charly Black Expects Reward to Be Paid in Dollars

During the interview, the possibility of offering a cash reward for the jewellery’s return was discussed. Charly Black said he would speak to Adelaide to establish the arrangements. He expressed confidence that some form of payment would be offered to whoever returned the items.

The singer also confirmed that any reward would be paid in US dollars rather than Kenyan shillings. However, he did not announce a specific reward amount during the interview. The US$8,500 figure refers to the estimated combined value of the missing jewellery, not a confirmed cash reward.

Dancehall Star Continues Kenya Visit

The incident follows Charly Black’s performance at Masshouse, located at Nairobi’s Ngong Racecourse, on October 10.

The Jamaican star arrived in Kenya for a series of performances targeting dancehall and reggae fans. His visit has attracted attention from local entertainment audiences.

For now, the singer is hoping to recover the missing jewellery and is awaiting clarification on the reward arrangements. Anyone who may have credible information about the items can contact the artist or his verified representatives.
