Ciggie shared an image appearing to show him passing a relay baton to Stevo Simple Boy.
Ciggie Johnson’s caption-free post draws online reactions as Stevo Simple Boy and former partner Brenda face questions over a reported DNA test.
Kenyan content creator Ciggie Johnson has shared a relay baton photo amid rapper Stevo Simple Boy’s paternity dispute. The image appears to show Ciggie passing a baton to Stevo, prompting humorous interpretations from social media users.
Ciggie offered no caption or explanation for the post. However, fans linked the apparent handover to separate reports questioning the paternity of children the entertainers had raised.
Relay baton photo sparks online reactions
Some users interpreted the image as Ciggie welcoming Stevo into a group of men facing public paternity disputes. That reading came from commenters, rather than an explanation from Ciggie himself.
One user, Jonlee Biff, likened the handover to Ciggie giving Stevo a membership card. Meanwhile, Dave Okoth used the online expression about delayed “dust” to describe the baton.
The reactions drew on the slang term kupigwa dust, which commonly refers to romantic disappointment. In this case, commenters gave the discussion a sporting twist through the relay image.
Separate DNA reports draw attention
The post follows reports that a DNA test excluded Ciggie as the biological father of a girl. He had reportedly raised and supported her since birth.
Stevo has also faced public scrutiny over reported DNA findings involving a child he had raised with former partner Brenda. Those reports said the test showed he was not the biological father.
Reports have further linked the findings to the breakdown of Stevo and Brenda’s relationship. However, Brenda has challenged suggestions that the rapper only learnt about the paternity circumstances through the test.
Brenda disputes Stevo’s prior knowledge
Brenda maintains that Stevo already knew the circumstances surrounding the child’s paternity. She also claims they agreed to raise the child together for content creation despite that knowledge.
Her account disputes the suggestion that the reported findings came as an entirely new revelation to Stevo. Ciggie’s caption-free post, meanwhile, offered no comment on Brenda’s claims or the details of either dispute.
