Senior government officials, political leaders and community members joined the couple for the Maa cultural celebration. Religious leaders and local administration officials also attended, alongside relatives and friends of the two families.
Maa traditions at Sasha Ntutu engagement
Sasha chose a white gown with traditional Maasai jewellery and a matching headpiece for the occasion. She also wore a flowing brown cape over her shoulders.
Victor paired his brown Kaunda suit with traditional Maasai ornaments and brown shoes. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids wore cream off-shoulder dresses featuring traditional designs, complemented by Maasai ornaments.
The ceremony brought the families together to honour their cultural traditions and celebrate the couple’s engagement. Leaders offered their congratulations, while also sharing advice on the foundations of a lasting union.
Duale urges couple to embrace faith and respect
Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale confirmed his attendance in a post on X. He said he joined Governor Ntutu, Justice Musinga, their families and friends at Olopirik Farm for the celebration.
In the same post, Duale said he encouraged Sasha and Victor to build their home on faith and love. He also emphasised mutual respect and patience as they began their marital journey.
Government and county leaders attend
Other guests included Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya, Bomet Governor Hilary Barchok and Samburu Governor Lati Lelelit. Mining Principal Secretary Harry Kimutai and Narok Woman Representative Rebecca Tonkei also attended the engagement.
County executive members joined the gathering alongside local officials and religious leaders. The ceremony concluded with prayers and cultural celebrations, marking a milestone for Sasha, Victor and their families.
