The gospel singer sought followers’ help after a social media user demanded DNA results and accused her of deceiving her husband.

Gospel singer Ninah Mpendwa has expressed disappointment after a social media user questioned her son’s paternity. The user also accused her of trying to trap her husband, Mesh Mpendwa, of Wapendwa Muziki.

In response, Ninah turned to her followers for help answering the unsolicited remarks. The comment demanded DNA results and suggested she might have deceived Mesh about their child’s biological father.

The user linked those suspicions to the couple’s long struggle to conceive. However, the remarks offered no evidence to support the allegation.

Ninah Mpendwa responds to hurtful remarks

The singer expressed frustration over the insinuations about her family. Her response comes after the couple previously spoke openly about the emotional strain of trying to become parents.

Ninah and Mesh dated for a long time and later endured a prolonged wait for a child. During that journey, they also faced hurtful comments from social media users about their childlessness.

Ninah previously recalled people mocking her petite frame and questioning whether she could carry a pregnancy. Mesh, meanwhile, shared concerns about his own ability to have children because of fertility complications in his family.

The latest comment again drew attention to that struggle, this time through an accusation about their son. Ninah’s public response focused on her disappointment and her request for followers to help her respond.

Couple shared their journey to parenthood

The couple announced their pregnancy in 2025 after years of waiting. They described the news as a significant milestone in their marriage.

Later, during a television interview in February 2026, they discussed the emotional toll of online bullying. Both recounted how criticism about their childlessness had affected them during their wait to become parents.

Ninah has also shared details of complications during her son’s delivery. She explained that the baby became stuck during labour, prompting doctors to perform a Caesarean section.

She further disclosed that doctors removed a large fibroid during the procedure.
