MrBeast Transforms Bomet School with Seven New Classrooms and Desks
MrBeast, born James Stephen Donaldson, has funded several major projects in Kenya. First, he financed 1,000 free surgeries for Kenyans with treatable conditions. The medical mission restored mobility and improved quality of life for many patients.
Additionally, he drilled boreholes in water-scarce regions. These boreholes now provide clean drinking water to thousands of residents.
Moreover, he supported school feeding programs in vulnerable communities. Consequently, his projects have addressed both health and education challenges.
Seven New Classrooms in Bomet County
Recently, MrBeast funded the construction of seven classrooms at Nyakichiwa Primary School in Bomet County.
His team assessed the school after documenting its poor infrastructure. Pupils previously studied in dilapidated structures with limited space.
Some learners shared desks meant for two students among four. Others sat on stones or classroom floors during lessons. Therefore, MrBeast delivered a truckload of desks and chairs.
He also reinforced older classroom buildings. The new classrooms feature improved roofing, walls, and flooring. As a result, the school expects reduced congestion and better learning conditions.
Many rural Kenyan schools face classroom shortages. Enrollment growth has outpaced infrastructure expansion in several counties.
Teachers at Nyakichiwa struggled with overcrowded classes before the intervention. However, the new facilities now support improved organization and comfort.

The new facilities at Nyakichiwa now serve both present and future pupils.
Across East Africa, MrBeast’s philanthropy has touched education, health, water access, nutrition, and economic resilience. Through measurable interventions and public storytelling, his achievements boosted opportunities for thousands.
