Rockstar Games has released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, building anticipation for the highly awaited game’s November release.

The trailer premiered on October 15, 2026, offering another glimpse into the fictional state of Leonida and its modern-day Vice City setting. Rockstar has confirmed that the game will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Jason and Lucia Return to the Spotlight

The latest trailer follows protagonists Jason and Lucia as they navigate a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. According to Rockstar, an attempted robbery goes wrong and draws the pair into dangerous circumstances. They must rely on each other as events unfold in the sun-soaked but volatile setting.

The trailer offers another look at the game’s detailed environments and cinematic presentation. Rockstar previously showcased footage captured entirely on PlayStation 5 hardware in its August extended look.

Justice Leads GTA 6’s Musical Direction

The launch trailer also highlights the game’s original music, composed by French electronic duo Justice. Its featured track, Flower in a Hurricane, includes Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The single is part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack project.

Rockstar’s official music page also showcases tracks from several artists and previews the game’s planned in-game radio stations. The soundtrack is available for digital pre-save, while vinyl and CD editions are listed for pre-order.

Digital Pre-Loading Begins November 12

Players planning to buy the digital version can prepare ahead of launch. Rockstar Support says pre-loading will begin at local midnight on November 12, one week before release.

The support page also states that physical retail packages will contain a download code inside the box. Players can redeem eligible codes from November 12 to begin pre-loading.

What About the PC Version?

Rockstar currently lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the game’s launch platforms. The company has not announced an official PC release date. Therefore, PC players will need to wait for further information rather than rely on unconfirmed release-window rumours.

With the launch trailer now available, anticipation is building ahead of November 19. Players can watch the official trailer and follow updates through the Rockstar Games website.
