Apple has expanded iCloud+ in Kenya, giving subscribers access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no extra cost.The rollout began in September 2026 and is expected to reach participating Kenyan accounts by the end of September 2026. The move also marks the arrival of Apple TV in Kenya.
What Kenyan Users Get
The expanded iCloud+ subscription combines cloud storage with Apple’s entertainment services.
Subscribers can now access:
- iCloud+ cloud storage
- Apple TV
- Apple Arcade
- Privacy features such as Hide My Email and iCloud Private Relay
- Family Sharing for up to five other family members
Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games, with no advertisements or in-app purchases.
Apple TV gives Kenyan subscribers access to Apple Original films, series and documentaries, including titles such as Ted Lasso, Severance and Slow Horses. Content availability can vary by country.
iCloud+ Starts at About KSh128
The cheapest iCloud+ plan in Kenya remains the 50GB tier at $0.99 per month, which is approximately KSh128 based on the reported exchange rate.
Other available storage options include 200GB, 2TB, 6TB and 12TB plans. Every paid tier receives Apple TV and Apple Arcade under the new arrangement.
Existing Apple Arcade Users
Apple is also changing how it sells these services in participating markets. Standalone Apple Arcade subscriptions are being discontinued in Kenya as the service becomes part of iCloud+.
Existing Arcade subscribers will be moved to iCloud+, while their game progress and saved data will be preserved.
Apple TV is also being introduced in Kenya through the expanded iCloud+ offering. The company says Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be sold as standalone subscriptions in the participating markets.
Family Sharing Included
The new arrangement can also benefit families. With Family Sharing, Apple lets users share an iCloud+ subscription with up to five other family members.
One paid iCloud+ subscription can therefore give the entire family access to storage, Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
Rollout Continues Through September
Apple announced the expansion on September 15, 2026. The company says the new iCloud+ offering will roll out across more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September. Kenya is among the markets included in the expansion.
