Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has revealed the price he would charge for a potential joint tour with fellow superstar Wizkid.
The singer reportedly set his minimum fee at $500,000 per show while discussing the possibility of sharing a stage with his longtime rival. Davido also expressed confidence that a joint tour would attract massive audiences and generate significant revenue.
Davido Sets $500,000 Minimum Fee
Davido indicated that a joint tour could be a realistic way for the two artists to work together professionally. According to the reported remarks, he would charge at least $500,000 for each performance.
The singer also predicted that the tour’s venues would sell out because of the enormous interest surrounding their pairing.
He reportedly estimated that the entire tour could generate more than $30 million in gross revenue. However, the projected earnings would depend on ticket sales, venue capacity, sponsorships and other commercial arrangements. The reported fee also does not establish whether Wizkid would accept the same terms.
Why Davido Is Cautious About a Joint Song
For years, the rivalry between Davido and Wizkid has fuelled debates across the Afrobeats scene. Fans have repeatedly called for the two stars to release a song together. However, Davido reportedly suggested that a studio collaboration presents different challenges.
He indicated that public expectations could become so high that even a strong record might struggle to satisfy listeners.
The singer also reportedly acknowledged that the two artists have spent time together privately despite their public rivalry.
Their reported interactions have kept hopes of a professional partnership alive, although a joint recording remains uncertain.

A Potential Milestone for Afrobeats
A joint tour featuring Davido and Wizkid could attract substantial attention from fans across Africa and international markets.
Their combined audiences could also create opportunities for promoters, sponsors and concert venues. If both artists agreed to the financial terms, the tour could become a major commercial event for African live music.
Nevertheless, the reported $30 million projection remains an estimate rather than confirmed revenue. For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement before treating the proposed tour as a confirmed project.
