Police in Kilimani are investigating the death of a 51-year-old ICT firm CEO. Moreover, the man reportedly fell from the 14th floor on December 23.
Preliminary Investigations Begin
Detectives revealed the victim checked into the apartment the previous night. Additionally, he spent the night there before the tragic incident occurred.
Apartment Found in Disarray
Officers visiting the apartment discovered it in disarray. Consequently, they suspected the victim sustained injuries before the fatal fall.
Scalpel and Medications Recovered
Investigators recovered a used scalpel, alcohol, and medications at the scene. Therefore, they believe the victim may have inflicted injuries on himself.
Blood Found Across Room
Detectives also found pools of blood in the bedsitter and washrooms. Furthermore, the discovery raised more questions about the circumstances of his death.
Treated as Suspected Suicide
Police confirmed the case is being treated as suspected suicide. However, investigations continue to establish the exact events leading to the fall.
Body Transferred for Post-Mortem
The victim’s body was moved to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi. Meanwhile, a post-mortem will determine further details about the tragic death.
