Three New Prados for Zaheer Jhanda Ahead of 2027 Campaigns
Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda has stirred public debate after purchasing three brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado J250 SUVs.
The legislator said the vehicles will help him navigate the rough terrain across Kisii County during his campaigns ahead of the 2027 General Election.
MP Collects Luxury Fleet
Jhanda collected the three SUVs from Car Express, a motor vehicle dealership along Kiambu Road. Reports estimate the luxury fleet cost approximately KSh 42 million.
The vehicles are expected to support his movements across various parts of the constituency.
Jhanda Explains the Purchase
According to Jhanda, poor road conditions influenced his decision. He said many roads in Kisii become muddy and nearly impassable during the rainy season.
Therefore, he believes the four-wheel-drive Prado J250s will enable him to reach more residents without delays. He added that reliable transport is essential during extensive campaign tours.
