Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has officially launched his new political party, the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP). The launch event occurred on May 15, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi. This comes just three days after Gachagua resigned from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), the ruling party under President William Ruto. Gachagua
