On May 29, 2026, Uganda’s Ministry of Health confirmed two new cases of Ebola Virus Disease in Kampala. Consequently, the country’s total number of confirmed infections increased to nine. Additionally, health officials revealed that both patients are Congolese nationals. Medical teams quickly isolated the patients and placed them under specialized treatment.
