Web Masters Kenya Lands KSh2 Billion Mozambique Deal

On Friday, July 10, 2026, Web Masters Kenya officially signed a KSh 2 billion agreement with the Government of Mozambique to design, implement, and maintain the country’s new National Employment Portal.

The partnership marks a major milestone for Kenya’s growing GovTech sector and strengthens regional digital cooperation.

MoU Signed with Mozambique’s Employment Institute

Web Masters Kenya Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mozambique’s National Employment Institute (INEP).

The agreement gives the Kenyan technology company responsibility for developing and managing the country’s digital employment platform.

According to Chief Executive Officer James Ayugi, the project will modernize employment services and improve access for job seekers.


New Portal to Offer Multiple Employment Services

The National Employment Portal will provide a single platform for essential labour market services. Users will access job vacancies, internship opportunities, and vocational training programmes.

The system will also support self-employment initiatives and entrepreneurship programmes. Additionally, citizens will access the platform through mobile phones and designated Employment Centres across Mozambique.

The project reflects Mozambique’s commitment to expanding digital public services. It also aligns with the government’s wider digital transformation agenda under President Daniel Francisco Chapo.
