Ruto’s Cartier Sunglasses Shine at Baringo Festival

During the Baringo Cultural Festival, President William Ruto impressed Kenyans with his stylish sunglasses. Moreover, he swapped formal suits for a casual look.

Ruto wore Classic C de Cartier Motif Sunglasses, a hallmark of French luxury brand Cartier. Additionally, the eyewear featured rimless frames and exquisite finishes.

The sunglasses included smooth 18-karat gold plating and photochromic lenses. Furthermore, they had multiple anti-reflective coating layers for clarity.

Heritage of Cartier Craftsmanship
The “C de Cartier” motif represents over a century of Parisian craftsmanship. Therefore, the accessory added heritage and prestige to Ruto’s appearance.

For the President, the glasses enhanced his modern smart casual style. Consequently, they complemented his cultural and sporting event appearances nationwide.

Cartier’s website lists the sunglasses at Ksh145,000. Meanwhile, MidWest Jewellery prices them at Ksh154,000, underscoring their luxury status.

Practical Use in Baringo Sun
The sunglasses’ photochromic technology adjusted to the bright Baringo sun. Thus, they provided maximum clarity during the Kimalel Goat Auction.

The Baringo Cultural Festival recorded high livestock sales and strengthened cultural ties. Yet, the enduring image was Ruto with golden “C” reflecting sunlight.

President Ruto’s accessories include a Rolex Daytona reference 16528. Earlier this year, he wore it during a tour in Spain.
