Super Metro Launches Nairobi CBD–Rongai Route
On March 30, 2026, Super Metro officially launched a new route connecting Nairobi CBD to Ongata Rongai. This expansion reflects the Sacco’s steady growth across the Nairobi metropolitan region.

The new route runs between Nairobi CBD and Ongata Rongai. In the CBD, the stage is located along Mfangano Street near KNUT Headquarters.
Operations officially began on Monday, March 30, 2026, marking a major milestone for daily commuters.
Additionally, the route serves key areas along Lang’ata Road. These include Bomas of Kenya and Nyayo Stadium. Therefore, the service aims to ease congestion and improve connectivity in high-traffic zones.
Expansion into Regional and International Routes
Beyond Rongai, Super Metro continues expanding its network both locally and regionally. Recently, it launched a Nairobi to Kigali route, enhancing cross-border connectivity.
