Kisii MP Storms Hotel, Attacks Man in Alleged Love Triangle Drama
A dramatic confrontation erupted in Kisii town after a sitting MP stormed a hotel and attacked a man he accused of dating a woman linked to him.
The incident happened on Thursday morning, November 27. Patrons watched in shock as the lawmaker walked in and confronted the civilian during breakfast.
CCTV footage shows the MP entering the hotel and heading straight to the man’s table. He speaks angrily, gestures at the man, and then launches into a physical assault.
The scuffle lasts several minutes. Hotel staff and customers try to separate the two, but the MP keeps pushing forward. At one point, he attempts to stomp on the man’s torso. The footage also shows him slapping another person who tries to calm the situation.

Speaking to the press on November 30, the victim said he suffered injuries and now fears for his safety. He claimed the MP shouted for “respect” before accusing him of having an affair with the legislator’s girlfriend.
The civilian filed an assault report at Kisii Central Police Station on the same day. His lawyers now question why officers have not arrested the MP.
“We completed every procedure, including the P3 form, yet police have not acted,” the victim’s lawyer, Bernard Atancha, said.
The legal team also says the MP may still be pursuing the victim and could harm him again.
