Karen Set to Host Grand Finale of 2025 KCB East Africa Golf Tour
Speaking ahead of the championship, Club Captain Charles Omanga said the course remains in excellent condition.
“Our course is in great shape, and we aim to give golfers an unforgettable experience,” he said.
He also noted that the KCB East Africa Golf Tour has grown into a strong platform for talent growth and regional unity.
Top 40 Elite Teams Qualify for the Regional Showdown
A total of 40 elite teams from East Africa have earned slots in the finale.
Moreover, these teams qualified after competing in several legs held in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi.
The tour has grown into a vibrant amateur golf circuit and supports KCB’s goal of unifying the region through sports.
KCB Highlights Major Investment in Golf Development
KCB Group CEO Paul Russo expressed pride in returning to Karen for the 2025 finale.
“At KCB, sports form a core part of who we are,” he said.
Additionally, he stated that KCB has invested nearly KSh 1 billion in golf over two decades to elevate the sport and strengthen Kenya’s golfing profile.
Tour Engages Thousands Across the Region
This year’s circuit attracted over 3,000 golfers from the region.
Furthermore, more than 2,000 juniors joined clinics designed to nurture upcoming talent.
Since 2023, KCB has also planted over 2,000 trees on participating courses to support sustainability.
Russo added that the regional tour has boosted cross-border ties and created new opportunities for players.
He expects a highly competitive finale, with the winning team earning KSh 1 million for a sustainability project.

The 2025 event will receive strong backing from partners such as EABL, Salute iWorld, Sensations, and Africa Collect Textiles.
These partners have enriched the tournament and improved the overall experience.
