On December 20, the delegation toured key Egyptian defence manufacturing establishments. Among them were Arab International Optronics (AIO) and the Engineering Industries Complex.
Engagements with Military Production Ministry
The team held discussions at Egypt’s Ministry of Military Production (MoMP). Therefore, they gained insights into Egypt’s defence policy and industrial frameworks.
Visits to Advanced Factories
Additional visits included Kader Factories and Helwan Factories for Developed Industries. Furthermore, these facilities produce advanced defence technologies and military equipment.
Insights into Defence Capabilities
Officials stated the visit provided valuable exposure to Egypt’s technological capacity. Consequently, Kenya learned how Egypt integrates research, development, and manufacturing.
