Ministry of Education to Release 2025 KCSE Results on Friday

Results Announcement Scheduled
The Ministry of Education will release the 2025 KCSE results tomorrow, Friday, January 9. Moreover, Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba will announce the results in Eldoret at 9:30 a.m.

KCSE examinations concluded on November 21, 2025, after five weeks of continuous testing that began on October 21.

Consequently, 996,000 candidates who sat for the exam now await results crucial for their transition to higher learning.

Online Portal Prepared for Access
Two days ago, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) activated its online portal for parents and candidates. However, the portal indicated that results will only be accessible once the Ministry officially makes them public.

Furthermore, early activation ensures the system is fully functional and capable of handling heavy traffic once results are released. Once published, candidates must enter their index numbers and examination year to view provisional results online.

CS Ogamba Dismisses Fake Claims
Speaking earlier at the Omogusii Cultural Festival, CS Ogamba confirmed results would be released within the first two weeks of January. Additionally, he emphasized that the ministry is keeping with tradition by announcing KCSE results in January.

In a social media statement on January 3, Ogamba dismissed claims that results had already been released. Consequently, he urged Kenyans to treat fake and misleading posts with contempt and rely only on official communication.
