Wildlife Parks Open with Festive Free Entry Offers

Festive Season Promotion
Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has unveiled free entry offers in national parks, sanctuaries, and marine parks. Moreover, the promotion runs from December 26 to December 31 as part of Boxing Day group packages.

Family and Group Benefits
A family of five visiting sanctuaries will enjoy free entry for one child aged 6 to 17 years. Similarly, groups in a five-seater vehicle will receive free entry for one child passenger.

Bus and Van Offers
Groups arriving in a fully occupied 25-seater bus will benefit from free entry for two adults. Additionally, groups using a seven-seater van or eight-seater land cruiser will receive free entry for one adult.

Accommodation Discounts
Visitors staying three nights in park accommodations will enjoy a fourth night free. Consequently, the offer encourages longer stays and boosts tourism revenue.

Clarification on Eligibility
KWS clarified that the festive offers apply only to Kenyans. Furthermore, terms and conditions will govern access to the promotions.

Shuttle Services Introduced
Earlier, KWS launched bus shuttle services in Nairobi, Aberdare, and Lake Nakuru National Parks. The shuttles operate on weekends and public holidays, offering affordable access to game drives.

Jiachilie Campaign
The shuttle services form part of the Jiachilie in Kenya Parks holiday campaign. Therefore, families can explore parks conveniently without relying on private vehicles.

Tourism Expansion Plans
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki announced plans to expand in-park facilities. Bed capacity will increase from 1,800 to 4,000, creating jobs and empowering local communities.

Conclusion
KWS festive offers combine affordability, accessibility, and tourism growth. Ultimately, Kenyans can enjoy wildlife adventures while benefiting from discounted entry and accommodation packages.
