Kenyan singer Otile Brown has responded to media personality Azeezah Hashim after she praised his music. Azeezah recently spoke warmly about the singer, revealing that she had been his fan since childhood.
However, Otile used the moment to revisit their past online disagreement. In a social media post on Friday, November 6, 2026, he questioned why she had deleted a video in which she criticised him.
Otile Brown Questions Azeezah’s Deleted Video
The disagreement reportedly began when Azeezah criticised Otile while defending another musician. Her comments sparked an online exchange involving the singer. However, the original video is no longer available on her social media account. Otile referred to the deleted post when responding to her recent praise.
“You see, that guilt you carry, which even made you delete the video you posted dissing me, says a lot. Deep down, you know what’s up,” he wrote.
His remarks suggested that he had not forgotten their earlier disagreement. He also questioned the sincerity behind her recent comments about his music.
Otile Says He Holds No Hatred
Despite revisiting the controversy, Otile ended his message on a conciliatory note. He wished Azeezah well and said he had no hatred towards her. He also expressed pride in how far she had progressed in her career.
His response therefore combined criticism with a gesture of goodwill. It also reopened conversations about their earlier fallout.
Azeezah’s Praise Reopens Past Fallout
Azeezah’s positive remarks about Otile appeared to offer an opportunity to move beyond their disagreement. However, the singer’s response showed that he still remembered the earlier criticism.
