Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy is at the centre of fresh paternity claims after his former manager, Geoffrey Machabe, alleged that he is the biological father of Stevo’s son, Dragon Junior.
Machabe reportedly made the claims during an interview with media personality Oga Obinna on the Riba Show. He also expressed willingness to undergo a DNA test to establish whether he is the child’s biological father.
However, the claims remain unverified, and there is no publicly confirmed DNA result establishing Dragon Junior’s paternity.
Machabe Makes Paternity Claims
During the interview, Machabe claimed that Stevo is raising his biological child. He further alleged that he had a romantic relationship with Brenda and claimed that Stevo was not the child’s biological father.
Machabe also alleged that he has remained in contact with Brenda and has supported the child financially. Despite the claims, neither a DNA test nor an independent source has publicly confirmed Machabe’s allegations.
Dragon Junior Welcome
Stevo Simple Boy and Brenda welcomed their son, Dragon Junior, in November 2025. Stevo announced the birth after Brenda was taken to hospital during labour. The couple later kept the child’s face away from the public as they navigated life as new parents.
The child’s paternity has previously attracted online speculation, with some social media users calling for a DNA test.
Dragon Junior’s Face Revealed
The latest claims come shortly after Stevo and Brenda publicly unveiled their son’s face.
The face-reveal event took place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Alfajiri Meadow, with regular admission reportedly cost KSh500, while VIP tickets went for KSh1,000.
Stevo had announced the face reveal on August 7, 2026, saying the occasion would celebrate beauty, self-acceptance and different appearances.
Stevo’s Fatherhood Has Faced Public Scrutiny
The paternity controversy comes after Stevo opened up about becoming a father. In an August 2026 interview with the Mic Cheque podcast, the rapper recalled how some people previously doubted that he could have children.
He said those perceptions had changed after the birth of Dragon Junior. The rapper has also continued to speak publicly about raising his son and his relationship with Brenda.
Machabe and Stevo’s Professional Fallout
Machabe previously worked as Stevo Simple Boy’s manager before the two fell out. Their professional relationship became strained amid disagreements involving Stevo’s career and Brenda’s involvement.
The former manager has since made several public claims about the artist’s personal and professional life. His latest paternity allegation has now added another layer to the long-running dispute.
DNA Test Could Settle the Claims
Machabe has publicly said he is ready to take a DNA test. For now, however, his claim remains an allegation.
A formal DNA test would be required to establish biological paternity rather than relying on statements made online or during interviews.
Neither Stevo nor Brenda has, in the sources reviewed for this article, publicly confirmed Machabe’s allegation.
