Wicknell Chivayo has announced new Toyota Fortuners and cash gifts for 15 fellow church members.
The Zimbabwean businessman says each beneficiary will receive a new Toyota Fortuner and US$5,000 in recognition of their commitment and service to the church.
Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has announced plans to reward 15 church members with new Toyota Fortuners and cash gifts.
Chivayo said each beneficiary will receive a 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD-6 and US$5,000.
He valued the 15 vehicles at a combined US$1.2 million, which is approximately Sh155 million.
The cash allocation totals US$75,000, equivalent to about Sh9.7 million.
Chivayo made the announcement on September 25.
The latest gesture adds to a series of vehicle and cash donations he has recently unveiled for church members and religious leaders.
Beneficiaries drawn from three areas
According to Chivayo, the recipients come from Domboshava, Chiweshe and Murehwa.
He described them as faithful members who have remained committed to the church and its teachings.
Chivayo said the gifts recognise their dedication and service within the religious community.
He congratulated the selected members and informed them that the vehicles were ready for collection.
According to his announcement, the recipients will collect the vehicles from Enterprise Car Sales on Wednesday.
He said Madzibaba Chipaga would coordinate the handover process.
The US$5,000 cash gift will come in addition to the vehicle.
Chivayo described the money as a token of appreciation for the recipients’ contribution to church life.
Earlier package for UFIC members
The announcement follows another donation package unveiled earlier for members of the United Family International Church (UFIC).
Under that programme, Chivayo pledged Toyota Fortuners and US$10,000 fuel allowances to 10 church ushers.
He also allocated two 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 ZX vehicles to two church leaders.
Each leader was set to receive an additional US$20,000 for fuel.
While both initiatives targeted members of religious communities, the latest package offers identical gifts to all 15 beneficiaries.
The earlier UFIC programme provided different rewards for ushers and church leaders.
Luxury gifts for church leaders
Chivayo has also made headlines for gifting luxury vehicles to prominent religious figures.
On September 16, he announced a birthday gift for Zion Christian Church leader Nehemiah Mutendi.
The package included a new Rolls-Royce Cullinan and US$250,000 in cash.
A week later, Chivayo gifted Emmanuel Makandiwa and Ruth Makandiwa a 2026 Mercedes-Maybach.
The gesture followed a reported Sh129 million donation to their ministry.
The latest Fortuner giveaway continues Chivayo’s pattern of rewarding both church leaders and ordinary members.
He said the 15 recipients earned the gifts through their dedication, loyalty and continued service to the church.
