Fetty Wap marries model Alexis Skyy in New Jersey, marking their wedding nearly four months after announcing their engagement. The couple exchanged vows on November 5 at a castle-like venue before about 100 close friends and relatives.
The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, shared photographs from the private celebration on social media. Skyy also posted wedding pictures and adopted the name Mrs Maxwell to mark the occasion.
For the ceremony, Skyy chose a white satin ballgown with detailed lace, sheer sleeves and a long veil. Her bridal party wore pink satin gowns, while Fetty Wap wore an all-white satin suit with a long coat and matching shoes.
Fetty Wap marries amid return to music
The wedding follows the couple’s July engagement announcement, when they shared photographs of the rapper’s proposal. Their marriage also marks another personal milestone during a year of changes in his life and music career.
Earlier this year, the New Jersey-born musician completed a federal prison sentence and returned to music. The Trap Queen hitmaker released his fourth studio album, Zavier, in March.
Following his release, he told US media outlets that he had a renewed perspective on life and his career. Meanwhile, he is on a nationwide tour scheduled to continue through December.
