Harry Kane has extended his Bayern Munich contract until June 2029.
Bayern Munich have extended the England captain’s deal by two years after his prolific scoring form and Ballon d’Or success.
Bayern Munich have confirmed a Harry Kane contract extension that keeps the England captain at the club until June 30, 2029. The new agreement replaces his previous deal, which was due to expire in summer 2027.
The extension also ends weeks of speculation over the striker’s future. Kane remains central to Bayern’s long-term plans under manager Vincent Kompany.
Following the announcement, Kane said he felt settled at Bayern and enjoyed life in Munich. He also praised the club’s supporters, his teammates and Kompany.
Meanwhile, the forward said his family were happy in the city. He expressed his desire to win more trophies with Bayern after committing to another two years.
Harry Kane contract follows standout scoring season
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023 and has since delivered exceptional scoring returns. He has scored 156 goals in 160 competitive appearances for the German club.
His latest campaign also brought 73 goals across club and international football, alongside the Ballon d’Or award. During that season, he helped Bayern achieve domestic dominance and led England on their World Cup run.
Beyond his club achievements, Kane recently matched Peter Shilton’s record of 125 senior appearances for England. The milestone adds another distinction to the national captain’s career alongside his individual scoring honours.
With the extension now confirmed, Bayern retain their leading forward through June 2029. For Kane, the agreement continues a Munich career he hopes will bring further titles.
