Disappearance of Samwel Macharia
A family in Katheri Village, Meru County, remains distressed. Moreover, veteran mountain guide Samwel Macharia vanished nearly two weeks ago on Mount Kenya.

Macharia, aged 35, disappeared while guiding two Japanese tourists. Additionally, he was working as a porter alongside his brother during the climb.
