Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has announced a two-week US diaspora tour to engage Kenyans on leadership and economic transformation. The Linda Mwananchi presidential aspirant will travel from November 20 to December 4.
His itinerary includes stops in Pennsylvania, the Washington DC metropolitan area and Texas. He will also visit Seattle and California during the final leg of the trip.
The meetings will give Sifuna an opportunity to share his views on Kenya’s future with citizens abroad.
US diaspora tour itinerary and political focus
According to the itinerary, Sifuna will begin his engagements in Allentown, Pennsylvania, before heading to the Washington DC metropolitan area. He will then visit Dallas and Houston in Texas, with Seattle and California completing the planned route.
Across these stops, the planned discussions will centre on leadership, economic transformation and the country’s direction. The engagements will therefore take his political message to Kenyan communities in several parts of the United States.
Meanwhile, political activity is gathering momentum ahead of Kenya’s 2027 General Election. Leaders and aspirants are engaging supporters and presenting their agendas to different constituencies, including Kenyans living abroad.
The diaspora also remains an important constituency in national conversations about governance and development.
