Dir. En’Man directed the Hallelujah Festival’s extended 4K broadcast in Lagos.
The director combined sustained 4K streaming with experimental visual effects during Nathaniel Bassey’s festival finale in Lagos.
Director Akhabue Evans Ebalu, known as Dir. En’Man, delivered a 4K livestream lasting more than 10 hours at Hallelujah Festival 2026. The production combined extended live coverage with creative optical effects for a global online audience.
The festival marked the grand finale of Pastor Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge on Friday, October 30, in Lagos. Thousands of worshippers attended, while the broadcast extended the gathering’s reach beyond the venue.
En’Man led the broadcast’s visual direction, introducing treatments that drew attention from viewers, particularly within filmmaking and production circles. His approach went beyond relaying the stage performance, incorporating experimental imagery into the live coverage.
Hallelujah Festival 2026 pairs worship with visual experimentation
One notable sequence used a linear kaleidoscope effect during Bassey’s trumpet performance. Through mirrored and refracted image sections, the effect presented multiple views of the performance within a single visual composition.
Meanwhile, the production maintained its 4K stream for more than 10 consecutive hours. The sustained broadcast paired that technical effort with creative choices throughout the festival finale.
Online reactions also reflected interest in En’Man’s approach. One viewer playfully suggested that other creatives were still catching up when the director introduced another unexpected treatment.
Next, En’Man is scheduled to lead a masterclass at FramXpo West Africa 2026 in Lagos. The event runs from November 2 to 4, offering him another opportunity to share his production experience after the festival broadcast.
