American streamer Kai Cenat accidentally revealed a TikTok balance of $23,232.11, about Sh3.01 million, during a livestream. The brief glimpse of his creator rewards dashboard sparked reactions online.
The incident occurred on November 3, 2026, while Cenat streamed alongside Detroit comedian and rapper Glen Looze Cannon Cannon. Cannon also performs Michael Jackson impersonations.
Cenat quickly closed the page after displaying the unwithdrawn funds. However, some viewers assumed he had earned the entire amount during the broadcast, which lasted less than 30 minutes.
The balance instead reflected money that had accumulated in his creator account over time. It was not the income from that single session.
TikTok balance differs from LIVE earnings
Separately, Cenat reportedly earned between $7,000 and $7,300 through gifts and rewards during the livestream. That translates to approximately Sh910,000 to Sh950,000.
A four-to-five-minute LIVE battle between Cenat and Cannon also drew a large number of virtual gifts. Cenat reportedly received more than 200,000 gifts, while Cannon’s tally surpassed 1.4 million.
During TikTok LIVE battles, viewers support competing creators with virtual gifts purchased using TikTok Coins. These gifts contribute to creator rewards, although their cash value depends on TikTok’s conversion and payout arrangements.
Meanwhile, Cenat has built a large following across Twitch, YouTube and TikTok through comedy, challenges and celebrity appearances. Interactive livestreams also form a significant part of his online entertainment career.
The accidental disclosure renewed discussion about major creators’ earning potential, particularly through virtual gifts and other platform rewards.
