Pauline Njoroge says the movement will extend its campaign to smaller towns, wards and villages while maintaining engagements in major towns.

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna is expected to lead Linda Mwananchi’s next grassroots campaign phase, targeting smaller towns, wards and villages.

The movement’s head of communications, Pauline Njoroge, said the outreach follows tours of major towns across Kenya. She described those tours as successful, saying they attracted substantial public support that grew organically.

Now, the movement wants to deepen community engagement beyond urban centres. However, Njoroge said it would continue holding events in major towns alongside the expanded local outreach.

Njoroge linked the next campaign phase to the movement having its party in place. She said Sifuna would spearhead efforts to establish a presence across the country, taking its message into smaller communities.

She also framed the approach as a way to connect with people where they live. To illustrate the ambition, Njoroge compared reaching a young person in Nakuru with reaching an elderly man in Komora village, Turkana. Both, she said, should recognise the movement.

The planned village engagements therefore extend the campaign’s reach rather than replace its larger-town activities. Njoroge said the movement intended to keep the next phase energetic as it takes its message to wards and villages.
