Meanwhile, Ice Cream on a Mkokoteni formed part of the New Drip, Same Dazzle campaign. The initiative aimed to bring Dairyland closer to consumers through familiar, everyday experiences rather than conventional advertising alone.

Another product launch was Blackish, a black peppermint chocolate ice cream. Its One of One campaign focused on mystery, individuality and discovery, using the product’s unusual appearance as part of its positioning.

New categories and lessons from Dairyland

Dairyland also entered the drinking chocolate category with Sip It Loud. That launch extended its range into another product category, alongside the ice cream innovations and chocolate rebranding during Milan’s tenure.

Beyond those launches, Milan highlighted the lessons and relationships she will take from her time at the company. Her experience included leadership, collaboration and efforts to keep brands connected with changing consumer expectations.

In reflecting on the move, she said professional growth sometimes requires stepping away from work built over several years. She also expressed pride in her contributions at Dairyland and appreciation for the relationships formed there.
