EasySMX S10 Lite gaming controller with removable faceplate

EasySMX pairs Hall effect sticks and motion controls with a removable cover, but does not sell replacement faceplates or stickers.

The EasySMX S10 Lite targets budget-conscious Switch 2 players with a regular $40 price and several modern controller features. However, its removable magnetic faceplate comes with a limitation: EasySMX does not sell replacement covers.

The gamepad includes Hall effect analog sticks, motion controls, two mappable rear buttons and adjustable vibration. Its price sits below Nintendo’s $90 Pro Controller, although the $30 8BitDo Ultimate 2C costs less.

Available in ice blue and pastel pink, the controller has a compact body with textured, anti-slip grips. The package also includes a charging cable and a quick-start instruction card.

EasySMX S10 Lite features extend beyond Switch 2

The analog sticks use Hall effect technology and a soft-contact design around their edges. Meanwhile, the face buttons and triggers use tactile microswitches, giving players a click-based input rather than a smooth trigger pull.

Players can choose between four vibration intensity settings. The controller also supports nine-axis motion controls and a Turbo function for setting input macros through button combinations.

For additional customisation, players can map the two rear buttons by holding a nearby button marked M. A rear toggle also lets users switch compatibility between Switch, Switch 2, PC, Android and iOS.

The gamepad can wake the Switch 2 remotely. On the front, the home, GameChat and capture buttons sit along the bottom, separate from the central plus and minus inputs.

Magnetic cover marketing centres on DIY customisation

The semi-transparent faceplate attaches through four visible circular magnets and tension. While that makes removal possible, buyers cannot purchase alternative designs directly from EasySMX.

EasySMX’s product page promotes DIY magnetic faceplates and stickers as ways to personalise the controller. It also describes swapping covers to match a mood or game theme, despite selling neither replacement faceplates nor stickers.

The company does occasionally offer customised faceplates through giveaways on Reddit and Discord. However, those promotions differ from a range of accessories that customers can buy whenever they want.

For buyers, the distinction matters: the removable cover supports the idea of personalisation, but not a readily purchasable collection. The controller’s practical appeal therefore rests more on its inputs, compatibility and price than on interchangeable designs.
