Kalonzo Musyoka leads The Ukombozi Alliance.
The tribunal has lifted suspension orders, allowing the Registrar of Political Parties to proceed with registering the Kalonzo Musyoka-led formation.
The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal has cleared the way for Ukombozi Alliance registration by lifting orders that suspended the process.
The decision allows the Registrar of Political Parties to resume the exercise in case PPDT/E007/2026. The proceedings involved Allan Jayuga Akivaga, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties and the Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya.
Ukombozi Alliance registration moves forward
With the suspension lifted, the Registrar can now proceed with the registration process. The office is expected to conclude the exercise under the Political Parties Act and other applicable laws.
Former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka leads The Ukombozi Alliance, also known as TUA. Musyoka is also the leader of the Wiper Patriotic Front.
The formation emerged from the rebranding of the Azimio la Umoja–One Kenya Coalition on September 21, 2026. That change came as opposition leaders began reorganising their political platform ahead of the 2027 General Election.
